Breast Screening

The NHS offers screening to save lives from breast cancer. All women aged 50 up to their 71st birthday are invited for breast screening every three years. Breast screening uses an x-ray test called a mammogram to check the breast for signs of cancer. It can spot cancers that are too small to see or feel.

Bowel Cancer Screening

The NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme offers screening every two years to all men and women aged 60 to 74. People in this age range are automatically sent an invitation then their screening kit, so they can do that test at home.
